Getting a portrait of your family, friends and kids should be a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Thats why at Ginkgo, we like to kick back, chill out and enjoy your session. We are not here to tell you what to do, we want you to tell us. Sure we can help develop your ideas, so you end up with pictures that you will really love, but you call the shots. Our portrait studios at Chilbolton, just North of Winchester are the perfect place to take some time out, relax and enjoy a fun family portrait.
To get you started, here is a suggestion of what you could do with your portrait session:
If you are going to be with us to get a family portrait, then we are guessing that the first thing you would like is a picture of the whole family together - just a guess... So, let’s start there. Working with you, we can start your portrait session simply by having a laugh. As you have managed to get the whole family together, lets enjoy that time as after all it’s sadly becoming more and more of a rarity. We all know that the best pictures of you are the natural ones, so if your really enjoying yourself all we have to do is photograph it.
After the family portrait is done, we can work a little on breaking the group down. How about a portrait of Mum and Dad (that would be you) as a couple. It’s a known fact that most of the time one of you will be holding the camera, so like Clark Kent and Superman, you never seem to be in the same place at the same time. Let’s take advantage of your session and capture a portrait of you as a couple. You don’t have to hang it on the wall - But it would be great to have you together and after all, you get all the digital images as standard. You could even add it to the collection in one of our photobooks.
We can then work on getting some individual portraits of your kids, in fact the combinations go on and on, so let your imaginations run wild and you will get the most out of your family portrait session.
Once the portrait session is all done and you have worked out how much you love each of the images the options really open up. With an impressively diverse range of products, from loose pictures and photo-DVD’s, traditional mounted images, to breathtaking prints on Aluminium, Acrylic and Glass, there is something for everyone. We want you to be able to display your family portrait in a style that is as individual as you.
