In addition, if you would like to gift these portrait sessions and the recipient is unable to come to between these dates, we are more than happy to try a range date or time which is mutually convenient after the special offer period.

With the exception of the gifted sessions, our "if you don't like, then don't pay" terms still apply. To date, we have never had anyone take us up on these terms, but we like to keep them there to prove the point that we are more than confident that we can produce something rather special for you and in turn give you the confidence in our service.

As a culture our photographic needs have been evolving and changing at an ever-increasing rate over the last decade. Once, when looking to have a family portrait taken the primary aim was to have a high-quality print of a specific size in a specific style of frame. And, perhaps one or two smaller prints for family and friends.

Today almost all of us have hundreds if not thousands of photos stored away in some electronic vault somewhere. From your laptop to your PlayStation to your Apple TV to Flickr or Facebook online. There are now myriad of ways to store, organise and view your photos.

So our opinion is, why should it be any different when you go to employ professional photographic services. At Ginkgo we believe that not only should you receive all of the processed images from your session with us. But also that those images should be in the most optimised format for the purposes you wish to use them.

So from print, with our exceptionally high-quality output using only the best supplier we can find to digital images, versions of which we are more than happy to create better optimised for the platform from which they will be viewed. So be it on television, a computer screen, and iPod or iPhone and even online, if you have a requirement to have your images optimised for multiple platforms, and the remainder of this year we are more than happy to include this service had absolutely no extra cost to you whatsoever.

So new media or old, or both, let us know what you would like to use your images for and we will make sure that we provide you with multiple versions of the files that precisely meet your wants.

Technology has allowed us all to communicate in so many different ways. Whilst we love what technology can do for us as individuals and as a business, we still prefer, by far, to talk to our clients. Ideally in person, or on the phone if need be.
